HEART day

On a lighter note ... seriously, this yogurt is 100 calories with 0g of fat ... I HEART Yoplait's new Light Thick & Creamy yogurt.

For real (yes, I did just say that), it tastes like rich custard even though it's good for me, minus the whole sugar and preservative stuff. And who cares about that anyway? Well lots of people, actually, such as my brother-in-law, but I'm down with a little manmade goodness.

This yogurt has been key to my recent weight (watcher) success. (Down 15 pounds in the last 6 weeks and SO many since I had lil' Miss Dub that I durst not write the total for fear you'll do the math.)

Also, I'm keen on Thomas 100 calorie English Muffins, Jell-o Sugar Free puddin's -- pretty sure that's the officially spelling there -- and lots and lots of sweet potatoes. They're like potatoes but sweeter. Who knew?

Oh, and I've found these great new snacks -- apples, grapes and carrots. I think you find them by the fine cheeses, which all grocery stores seem to carry these days, thank goodness. I mean, it used to be hard just to find a good Gouda.

What health-happy snacks do you HEART?

sounds like you've been working hard staying healthy--good for you! it's a constant struggle for me to eat healthy food, but it's weird how much better it makes me feel.
i love ak-mak crackers with cheddar cheese, yoplait, the red kind, and oatmeal crisp cereal, which actually says on the box that it's good for your heart.
you know what else is good sometimes, bananas. ;)

Nice Job Mrs. Dub! 16 pounds plus Baby E is fabulous!! Good for you. I've recently somehow added a small inflatable ring to my midsection that I had previously obliterated. Hmmm? Maybe the fact that Mark left his See's candy in the house while at work has something to do with it. I just put my points on and dinner last night tasted alot yummier before I knew the point approximation! Ahh. Salad sounds good for tonight.

What's this "health food" stuff you're talking about? Isn't that something to do with Rich and Soy Cows?

Once strawberries are in season and inexpensive, they are an excellent WW snack; hardly any points! Also, one of my fave lunches when I'm counting points is a bowl of Campbell's Chunky Chicken Noodle soup and a piece of dry toast; only 3 points total and great for winter days. I always have sugar snap peas on hand when I'm dieting too, ditto for grapes. Keep up the good work!

Way to go on the weight loss Mrs. Dub!! Personally, I prefer the regular Yoplait Light to the Thick & Creamy, but I don't like custard or flan either. But you've inspired me. I'm going to WW today. I just do better with face-to-face weigh ins, though I am ambivalent about meetings despite research saying people who go lose more. Keep it up and hopefully there will be less Pop Pop next time we meet, too.

Woo-hoo! Way to go P-Daddy. I'm not usually a motivator for other people, unless motivating them not to eat better counts. But I know that if I can do it, anyone can. Good luck!
