4,000 words

Well, after a whirlwind of mooching that took us from Colorado to Utah to California, back to Utah and onto Illinois ... we're finally home in Chi-town.

There's way too much to chronicle so I've decided to let a few select pictures do the talking for me, which is sure to be a lot less lengthy and void of strange punctuation and run-on sentences. (Well, at least a little less.)

Besides, if a picture is worth a thousand words, I'm offering you all 4,000 to make up for my blogging break.

If that's not grounds for forgiveness, I don't know what is.

Driving from Denver to Utah, the scenic way.
(i.e. Not on I-80 and not through Wyoming
- at least the parts of Wyoming that border I-80 and look like desolation.)

The pier at Huntington Beach on a perfect day.
(Luckily, school was back in session so there were only other tourists on the beach with us that day, which is much better for my self esteem. Californians are proportionately thinner and cuter than their compatriots. Is it the avocados?)

Yummy cupcakes from Sprinkles.
(Can you guess which one I ate?)

Seashells collected by the Dubs.
(Does anyone know of a job where you can collect seashells and get paid generously? Because we're really good at it. And we like money.)

Nice to have you bsck. Still a little disapointed that the part of the trip to califonia did not include the true part (northern). FHP
