blame it on the baby

once i hated thee ...
now i embrace thee?
onto my sandwich i put thee.
not one, but two or three.
the flavor gives me glee.
oh, tomato, the red veggie,
what have you done to me?

say honest? honest. for three days now, i've craved a goat cheese/spinach/tomato/red onion sandwich. it's bizarre!

whenever there is a baby in my stomach, all it wants to eat are doughnuts. very strange. at least yours likes healthy food. i can't believe you don't generally like tomatoes! i have such fond memories of your and lindsey's salsa days. do tomatoes in salsa not count?

i'm not big on chunky salsa for that very reason. however, if you add enough jalapenos, tomatoes take on a whole new meaning. same goes for pasta sauce and italian herbs. but plain tomatoes? never. my whole life i have loathed them. and mr. dub hates them, too, so he's a little grossed out by us right now.

strange how Baby changes even these kinds of things. having kids REALLY IS a total makeover, isn't it?
