Colorado here we come?

As many of you already know, my smart and ridiculously good-looking husband, Mr. Dub, secured himself a great residency in Denver for the summer. Now, I don't know why it's called a residency since he's not studying to be a doctor or get a doctorate, but I do know that he's really smart and a hard worker so the fact he got hired over the other applicants makes total sense. However, that leaves our little family in a quandary. Should mother and baby sit tight in Illinois, working hard for some money that will help out when that little baby makes its debut? Should mother and baby leave town and join father on his summer adventure? Throw in some work issues that border on pregnancy discrimination and you have yourself on tough predicament. I just can't decide what to do. In the end, of course, we'll do what feels "right*" for our family, regardless of money. But we're just not sure what feels "right*" quite yet so I'm open to advice. When it comes to motherhood, the LDS Church is pretty clear-cut on what women should do in regards to employment.** But when it comes to extended time away from your spouse, there aren't quite as many -- or, well, any -- conference talks about what's appropriate. Once again, being a grown-up requires decisions to be made that aren't easy or simple or obvious. But I hear Denver is great!

* Feeling right is a matter of prayer, scripture study and family discussion.
**
i.e. Women should stay home with their children unless dire financial circumstances absolutely require a woman to work, and that should only happen after all other options are exhausted.

as someone who has been without her husband for 2 and a half weeks and won't see him for another 11, you need to start packing up for CO. seriously. no fun and i would imagine that would only be amplified with pregnancy. call you soon.
