Highlights of our weekend:
Going to the Chicago, Illinois LDS temple, which is actually in Glenview, which is technically 20 minutes away, but which takes more than an hour to get to in a raging snowstorm, which was the weather condition on Friday night. But we were patient and it was worth it.
Spending Saturday in Lincoln Park with Mrs. Aych at an uber-hip scrapbooking store where I purchased a handful of crafty confections like patterned paper, rub-on adhesive and some other stuff that looks really cool, although I have no idea what to do with them.
Watching "The Notebook," which me and the Mister found to be poorly-written and too sappy for our tastes, though the general premise was palatable in a Hallmark-Hall-of-Fame kind of way.
Attending a Sunday S'mores Soiree at Ms. Tea and Mr. Gee's house, where I discovered that I'm most definitely a lightly-toasted-marshmallow kind of girl, though I tend to accidently light my 'mallows on fire with great frequency, making most of my s'mores a bit scorched.

i've seen mr. rogers episodes that have better writting than the notebook. oh well, you can't win them all, right?
