Sometimes, when I feel like I have the most boring, mundane life in the world, I think,
"Courteney Cox is going to the bathroom right now."
OR
"Zach Braff just made himself a sandwich."
And I realize that we're all just going through the motions.
It helps.
(Also helpful: going to California for two week. See you in a fortnight! Lucky for you, I've stocked up some posts for your reading pleasure. You're welcome!)
(Update: Have you heard the good news?)

I haven't seen Courntey Cox lately. Hello, Plastic Surgery! That pic does NOT look like Monica from Friends. Yikes!
Have a great trip!
oh, i'm so glad you won't be leaving us in the lurch. have fun in HB! that's where you're going right?
maybe you can convince mrs. gee to start a blog while you watch your babies eat sand at the beach.
i say amen to going through the motions. i know the feeling and it is blah. have fun in cali!
wait... does this picture mean that the dark, stringy, "i just got out of the shower and i don't feel like drying/doing my hair" look is in? 'cause if it does... i am SO in right now!
and can we saw airbrushing?
say... not saw... though we can also SEE... but i meant say.
Word on the airbrushing. Even her hands look creepy and lifeless like that.
ENJOY!!
I love the section in US magazine- that says, "There just like us..." and shows pictures of movie stars doing everyday things like grocery shopping, taking their kids on a walk, getting a sandwich... I have to laugh- do they really think we are that stupid that we don't realize that they have to some things 'just like us'- it is so funny!
Too funny and so true. Way to keep everyone real. ;)
Well, that pretty much took all the lust out of Friends reruns...but when I'm putting my pants on one leg at a time, I still wish they were Tiger Woods' legs.
The phrase "just going through the motions" for some reason makes me think of Britney Spears act on the MTV Music Awards last night--don't ask how I happened to see that special moment in TV history--talk about just going through the motions, who knew you can lip-sync a song and leg-sync a dance at the same time and be out-of-sync on both. But I did feel a little compassion...she looked scared to death and totally fried...which is another way of saying like death warmed over.
