To keep with the prison theme - and to hopefully change my current Google ads, which are associated with all sorts of naughtiness thanks to my last post - I pose the following Q:
Which came first,
jail cells
or
cribs?
Because now that my lil' Miss can pull herself up to standing, she greets me after naptime (or when she should be sleeping) by pounding on the slats and squealing for her release! And I can't help but picture her in an orange jumpsuit with a bandana about her head.
And she's only 8 months! And the crib is on the lowest setting!
(Though she has been sporting an 18-24 month swimsuit.)
I guess I'll know it's time for a toddler bed when she starts to make shanks.

Oh my goodness, she is so very cute. Girl, just ankle chair her to the crib bars and call it a day (totally kidding, don't call CPS). I personally think that the crib came first because the cute babies that grew up to be bad men and ladies had to start out as cute babies. Oh, the sad thought. Anyway, love the little miss as she is the cutest jail bird ever.
Well with all the co-sleeping and baby wearing that is coming back I'd have to say the crib didn't come first. Maybe once the jail cell came around someone thought it looked like a good idea on a smaller scale for smaller people (er, I mean babies). Hmmm.....that sounded really mean! Yeah, don't call CPS on me either!
I really wish this pic of Miss Dub included tattoos on her knuckles. Maybe next time?
