'cause you gotta have friends!

there's several reasons why one needs friends beyond the usual social reasons.

here's just a few:

1. to take photos of your bump so that you don't have to do it yourself, resulting in an out-of-focus photo that makes you look like a near-to-give-birth orange blob.
2. to lend you a scanner so that you can upload ultrasound photos of your growing babe so that you don't have to take a picture of a picture of an ultrasound, which looks like a bunch of squiggly lines at best. (though in actuality it's a profile of ms. dub lying on her back and sucking her thumb.)
3. to tell you not to post bad photos of yourself or your child on your blog.

unfortunately, at this time i have no friends living locally so i've been denied any assistance on all three counts. as a result, these are for your viewing pleasure:
