Mr. Dub and I met the most wonderful person today, who just happens to be our very own baby. Our baby is 14.72 mm long and likes to chill on the right side of my uterus. Its heart already beats very fast and it appears to be growing along just fine. Even though it's hard to distinguish on this grainy ultrasound, I felt like I knew it right away. We feel very lucky, very grateful and very in love with our little one.
(While I fully recognize that I'm sharing this sort of information way too early in my pregnancy, considering all the dangers and realities of a first trimester, I already let the cat out of the bag so I figure there's no holding back at this point. Next time, I'll probably be a little more private and a little more cautious, but the good news is that the doctor said everything indicates this little baby is going to go the distance.)

That's so wonderful! Isn't that an incredible moment? I'm still not used to it with #3. I had an ultrasound on Tuesday and the baby waved its little skeleton arm at me. So cute! Congrats, again!
