A growing experience

It's only been two months, but I've already learned so much from being pregnant.
Such as ...
  • The proper etiquette for throwing up at work: Take the elevator to the bathroom in the basement and puke anonymously.
  • How to consume a box of Wheat Thins in two days. (Did I mention it was a family size box?)
  • The importance of getting 12 hours of sleep a night.
  • The importance of not getting 16 hours of sleep a night because your husband will think you're crazy and/or dead.
  • How to unbutton my pants without anyone noticing. (Particularly useful during long business meetings.)
  • How to pretend to have something in my eye when I start crying, especially if it's during a Subway commercial. (That Jared! Half his size!)
  • How far an Orange Julius establishment is from my apartment -- 19.1 miles, though I've yet to make the trek.

i forgot about the crying part. i think that one stays with you for the rest of your life. the others are more temporary.

i wish that crying all the time was a symptom of pregnancy. i would be able to fill an entire Kindergarten class by myself by now. just last night i was bawling as the girl won the money on deal or no deal. i totally understand the crying...and sleeping is my talent! we still have so much in common! try the wheat thins with laughing cow cheese. delish!
